Why This Exists

After six years supporting parents with their mental wellbeing before and after having a baby, I have noticed something that comes up again and again. Many parents are not failing. They are overloaded.

They are trying to hold the baby, the house, the relationship, the guilt, the noise, the needs, the pressure, and the invisible expectations of modern parenthood, often while quietly losing touch with themselves.

The Held Parent was created to teach parents small but important steps back to themselves and their children. A space that supports parents to feel more present, more confident, more connected, and more able to enjoy parenting again.

This is not about becoming a perfect parent. It is about learning how to come back. Back to your body. Back to your needs. Back to your values. Back to your child. Back to yourself.
